For founders and startups

Build faster with an operating partner beside you.

Basefy helps selected startups make difficult product decisions, build the right product, strengthen execution, and prepare for the next stage of growth.

Before you apply

Basefy works with a small number of startups at a time and says no often. Nothing here implies guaranteed investment, acceptance, fundraising, or growth.

Who Basefy works with.

Founders with a real operating problem

The clearest engagements start from a problem someone is already paying to work around.

Teams that want a partner, not a vendor

Basefy works inside decisions. That requires access, candour, and a founder who still owns the call.

Products that need building properly once

Rebuilding a rushed MVP costs more than building it to be operated the first time.

Companies willing to be told no

If validation says stop, Basefy says stop. That is the point of the process.

Where are you now?

Each stage has different constraints, a different contribution from Basefy, and a different first engagement. Pick the closest one.

Idea and validation

A framed problem, a named riskiest assumption, and one test that could disprove it.

Common constraints

  • No agreed definition of the user or the problem
  • Building before the assumption is tested
  • Feedback only from friendly sources

What Basefy may contribute

  • Opportunity framing and assumption register
  • A test designed to fail fast
  • A prototype only where it earns the answer

What Basefy expects from you

  • Access to the real users you are describing
  • Willingness to change the idea
  • One decision maker on calls

Possible working relationship

  • Short framing engagement
  • Fee based, no participation

The Venture Studio model.

The Studio is how Basefy participates in companies rather than just delivering for them. Contribution, timing, and participation differ by venture and are agreed in writing before work starts.

  • Product leadership that owns decisions, not just documents
  • Design and engineering in the same team as the AI and data work
  • Go-to-market and operating support after launch, not only before it
  • Selective capital participation where it fits the venture and the stage

Build partnership

Fee based

Basefy builds and hands over. The founder keeps full ownership and the operating documentation.

Co-building

Mixed

Shared build with a defined split of contribution, decision rights, and participation.

Operating support

Ongoing

Senior product, technology, or operating capability added beside an existing team.

Selective participation

Case by case

Capital participation alongside contribution. Decided per venture, never implied by an application.

Clients who found us

Apply as a startup.

One form, reviewed by the people who would actually work with you. Short answers are fine, specific answers are better.

  1. We read every application and reply either way
  2. If there is a fit, a first call covers the product decision you are stuck on
  3. If there is no fit, you get the reason in writing

Applying does not create an offer, an investment, or an obligation on either side.

Frequently asked questions.

Does Basefy invest in every startup it works with?

No. Most engagements involve no capital at all. Participation is decided per venture and is never implied by applying or by a first call.

Can you build our MVP for equity?

Sometimes, and only where contribution and ownership can be defined clearly. Fee based work is the default because it keeps incentives simple.

What if our product is already built and struggling?

That is the recovery track. It starts with an assessment of the product, the operation, and the team, then a staged plan that keeps the product running.

How long is a first engagement?

Framing work is measured in weeks. Build work is phased and re-scoped at each phase boundary rather than fixed for a year.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, on request, before detail is shared. Basefy does not need your full deck to judge fit.
